We Want Reasonable Maps

Fairfax County Public School (FCPS) is proposing to redistrict Emerald Chase so that our students would no longer attend Oak Hill Elementary School and instead would be rezoned for Fox Mill Elementary School. This would be massively disruptive for our children, who have built friends and connections at Oak Hill, a school to which we are deeply connected. Furthermore, moving Emerald Chase from its home at Oak Hill is not an effective solution to the school board’s stated goals of the boundary review, and could create more problems than it would solve.
