May 30 will be Emerald Chase’s Bike To Oak Hill Day! Aside from being a fun event, we’re looking to raise awareness for our community’s rezoning concerns due to the FCPS boundary review by proving we can safely and easily bike to our current elementary school. 

We will be meeting at 8:00 a.m. in the cul de sac of Rover Glen Ct, and we’ll leave for school around 8:15 a.m. after the bus leaves. We will be taking pictures along the route and a group photo of the kiddos outside the school when we get there!

We will be riding from Rover Glen Court to the path next to the basketball court, taking the trail that opens onto Lady Bank Lane, then Stone Heather to the crosswalk at Kinross Circle.

Principal Durso has asked that all children who are riding to school wear helmets and bring a lock to secure their bikes.
